Seven Bridges Run

Each January, runners cross seven of New York's most beautiful bridges in a small, unsanctioned tradition for those who like to start the year with something special. This is a run, not a race — any pace is welcome. Without a clock to beat, there’s room for something quieter: a chance to comprehend the sublimity of time and space, to take in the city at a grand scale, and cross bridge after bridge, progressing a little further into the new year with each step.

A luxurious aid station featuring The Hydration Guy is stationed at the McCarren Parkhouse located at the ten-mile mark, and again at the finish of both the marathon and 50k routes.

In lieu of an entry fee, runners are encouraged to make a donation to a charity of their choosing.
